Reno Aces Launches Reno Aces Foundation

RENO, Nev. – The Reno Aces Baseball Club, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, today officially launched the Reno Aces Foundation, which will use year-round fundraising initiatives to help support worthy causes throughout Northern Nevada.

The Reno Aces Foundation will seek to use professional baseball as a vehicle for making a positive impact within the communities that comprise Northern Nevada and the surrounding region. As the nonprofit division of Northern Nevada’s first Triple-A Baseball franchise, the RAF focuses its efforts on supporting youth and family initiatives.

"We are conscious of our role in this community, and we maintain a constant focus on providing service for people throughout Northern Nevada," said Stuart Katzoff, managing partner of the Reno Aces. "We’re thrilled to launch the Reno Aces Foundation today, and I’m excited to see the positive effect this foundation will have on so many people."

Through providing unique experiences, underwriting unmet expenses and using professional baseball as a channel to accomplish greater goals, the RAF is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people throughout the region.

The Reno Aces Foundation will conduct a number of fundraising activities throughout the year to provide funds for the programs it focuses its efforts on. Funds for the RAF will be raised through events such as jersey auctions, mystery ball raffles and other team-related activities.

The Aces will provide financial support to select 501(c)3 non-profit organizations who have applied for funding.
